Recognize that He is near, right at the door. —Matthew 24:33 NASB

An historic church, built 170 years ago, sits in the foreground. Behind it looms a 58-story skyscraper, constructed 17 years ago.
This church and skyscraper are attached at ground level allowing one to walk from the skyscraper's lobby, through an unlocked door, into the parish hall, and beyond to the beautiful sanctuary.
God waits solidly at ground level to receive us to Himself. In this fast-paced, skyscraper-filled world, all we have to do is simply enter through His unlocked door.
Prayer
Faithful God, please keep us grounded. Help us find our way into Your sanctuary.
Quote
Do not be afraid. Open wide the doors for Christ. //St. John Paul II (1920-2005)
Thought
God doesn't force His way into our lives. He offers an invitation, leaves the door unlocked, and waits longingly for us to accept.

~ On October 1st and 2nd, I will be a guest on the At Home with Jim and Joy show on EWTN. We will be discussing God's providence in the call to be a caregiver and how humble honest prayer each day can lead to deeper understanding of God's will in our lives.
