Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me.

– Psalm 51:10 (RSV)

Got dirt in your life? We all do.

Let us ask God for wisdom in getting things cleaned up. By keeping our eyes open, we might discover some divinely-placed tools. We can "put our hands to the plow," and ask God to help us bring about improvement.

Prayer

Lord, please find me a willing participant in Your work to clean up the messes in my life.

Quote

It is human to fall, but angelic to rise again. // St. Mary Euphrasia Pelletier (1796-1868)

Thought

Ask the Lord: "Have I been part of a mess that needs cleaning up?" Sit quietly and allow Him to bring clarity amidst murky thoughts. Allow time. How might we participate in a clean-up process?
