Sun Still Rises

Unfortunate things do happen — sometimes by accident, other times from malicious acts, or maybe even as a result of our own human failings.
Yet the sun still rises the next morning and for that we can give thanks — and take a new step forward.
Prayer
God of all, thank you for everything including seemingly unfortunate events. Even though I can't see it right now, I trust that You are working them for good.

Takeaway
Consider something unfortunate that you currently deal with or have previously faced. Give thanks for that very thing, remembering that His merciful love towards us is great.
