From the entrance to the fish gate, circling around. – 2 Chronicles 33:14 CPDV

An outer wall of innocent flowers encircles the ships, cranes, and concrete comprising this busy fishing port on the North Sea. The fish caught here provide physical nourishment to many, the industry creates financial sustenance, and the fresh beauty of these spring bulbs bolsters the soul and spirit.
Prayer
Lord, as I walk the working path of life, give me eyes for the beauty that unexpectedly surrounds me.
Quote
If a little flower could speak, it seems to me that it would tell us quite simply all that God has done for it, without hiding any of its gifts. //St. Therese of Lisieux (1873-1897)
Thought
Look closely at a flower that is in bloom and praise God for its delicate glory.
On the Open Doors podcast last week, Jenn, Jacqueline, and I imagine being one of the characters in the scene where Jesus healed the paralytic. Listen here.
