Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:39 NIV

We don't know what lies around the next bend. It might even appear as if we will drop into a void. Yet God has us on this path.

Do we pull over and refuse to go on? We don't want to careen recklessly ahead, yet we sense it is God’s will to keep going. We can proceed forward wisely in a measured way and bravely round the bend into unknown territory.

Prayer

Lord, help me to not fear what might lie ahead. Give me the courage to keep in close communion with You and trust as You lead me forward.

Quote

Those who fear to see too clearly what this love asks fool themselves by thinking that they have this watchful and devoted love. There is only one way to love God: to take not a single step without him, and to follow with a brave heart wherever he leads.

//François Fénelon (1651-1715)

"Fear not," "Do not be afraid," and the like are found all throughout the Holy Scriptures—some say as many as 365 times! (One list of those verses is found here.)
