A Stone Sings

To whom he said: I say to you that if these shall hold their peace, the stones will cry out. - Luke 19:40 (DRB)

The holiness of Christ is with us, the reverence of petaled flower and green bough, and the voice of the stone. Blocks hewn from rock and placed worshipfully long since by human hands. Sculptured stone with rough beginning carved by master craftsmen. Let heaven, nature, and stone sing.

Lord, I am a rough stone who worships You in the beauty of holiness. Turn my stony heart to flesh and cause me to prepare You room each day.
