Eternal Fount

But the water that I will give him, shall become in him a fountain of water, springing up into life everlasting. John 4:14 DRB

This fountain pours out its abundance without pause — day and night. Can I become like that fountain?

Only if the water rising within me is the living water that comes from the wellspring—the Source of Life.

Prayer

Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of thy Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love thee, and worthily magnify thy holy Name; through Christ our Lord. Amen (1928 BCP)

Quote

If we drink from the fount of the Savior each day, then each day will lead us to throw off the burdens of life easily and cheerfully at some time when the call of the Lord sounds.

//Saint Teresa B. of the Cross (1891-1942)

Thought

Some running streams lie far below ground level and the invasive drill has to go down, down, down until it reaches the Spring which than can bubble up and pour out abundantly.
