And again he said: Thou canst not see my face: for man shall not see me and live. —Exodus 33:23 DRB

When Moses asked God to show him His glory, the answer was, "You cannot see my face; for no one shall see me and live." Instead, God passed before Moses, allowing him to see His back.
Moses then headed back down the mountain and when the people saw him, they were afraid because his face shone so brilliantly. Radical radiance — and Moses had only seen God's back!
Centuries later, Jesus was born. And in that moment, it became possible for man to see the face of God and LIVE.
Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, Redeemer of the world, let me look upon Your face daily. Shine Your light from within me to show others that I have been in Your presence.
Quote
The light of Christ is eternally glowing with luminous radiance and can never be extinguished by the darkness of sin.
// St. Maximus of Turin (380-465 A.D.)
Thought
Radiating the light of the Lord requires spending lots of time with Him.
