We are dust.

The scriptures speak of our condition as being merely dust. Beginning as dust, ending as dust, existing as dust - seemingly insignificant.
And yet, even a piece of dust can burn with light. When placing a pile of sawdust into my woodburning stove, it lights immediately and gives off light, warmth and fire-starting capacity to the larger log nearby.
Lord, let me - a mere piece of dust - burn for Your glory today. Amen.
