Resting on Him

My soul, be at rest in God alone, from whom comes my hope.

(Psalm 62:5 NAB)

Have you been sitting in the same place for a while? Does it seem like God is sleeping, like nothing is happening to bring about change? Even so, be at rest for God can make things new in any situation and in any person, even within ourselves.

Lord, help me to wait patiently for You as I pray for change. Help me rest wholly upon Your being and Your framework for life. Amen.
