Pass not beyond the ancient bounds which thy fathers have set.
— Proverbs 22: 28 (DRB)
Faith-filled men of stalwart missionary spirit built these walls. Centuries took their abandoning toll, yet the ancient stones and walls remain, bearing witness of the bravery and self-sacrifice expended to spread the Faith.
Let me stand upon these ancient stones and speak of their God for He is my God. Speak of their Savior, for He is my Savior – the timeless, true One whose salvific message was first carried with fortitude to remote corners of the earth.
Prayer
Give me boldness and perseverance when telling the old, old story of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love. [1]
Quote
Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible. // St. Francis of Assisi
Reflection
Think about those pioneers who risked their lives to spread the gospel. Thank God for them and ponder some ways He may want you to spread the Good News.
